Trusted Homecare is celebrating the continued growth of its Community Care Centre near Lake, with an extra day of sessions added in response to increasing demand and positive feedback from attendees and families.
Based at Branstone, the Community Care Centre provides a welcoming, living-room-style setting where older adults can connect, engage in activities, and receive tailored support to promote wellbeing and social interaction.
Sessions now run on multiple days each week, with the most recent expansion coinciding with National Activity Providers and Professionals Week (19th-23rd January). The move allows Trusted Homecare to offer more local residents access to meaningful day support, while also giving families and carers valuable respite.
Groups are kept small – up to 12 people per session – ensuring individual needs are met through activities focused on mental stimulation, creativity, and companionship. Sessions begin at 09:30 at Trusted Homecare’s Branstone office, where attendees are welcomed with music, hot drinks and refreshments.
The centre is led by team members Chazz and Tricia, who aim to create a calm, friendly atmosphere where people feel comfortable and valued.

“From individuals who live alone and are seeking comfort and companionship, to those living with long-term health conditions, our team has the skills and experience to ensure everyone is supported in a way that meets their health and wellbeing needs.

Trusted Homecare has plans to expand the service to 5 days a week by autumn, continuing its mission to help older people stay connected and supported without needing to move into residential care.
