Bare Nailscessity, Hidden Beauty and Canvas10 Nails have all announced that they have been shortlisted as finalists in the UK Hair and Beauty Awards. The UK Hair and Beauty Awards community come together each year to celebrate the hair and beauty industry in style. The annual VIP Red Carpet event entails of a once-in-a-lifetime experience with celebrity guests, hosts and entertainment, and can only be attended by invitation only. Canvas10, in Newport, has been nominated for 3 awards; Best Gel Nails, Best Nail Salon and Entrepreneur of the Year for its founder, Ella Topping. Canvas10 has experienced rapid growth since launching in 2023. Ella’s journey began with humble beginnings, as she launched the salon with minimal resources, renting a desk and offering manicures for £5. Through determination and dedication, Canvas10 quickly evolved, and within 6 months, Ella opened the salon’s own location, furnished with donations from Facebook Marketplace.

East Cowes’ Bare Nailscessity is shortlisted for Best Gel Nails and Best New Talent, whilst Arreton’s Hidden Beauty is hopeful in SPMU Artist of the Year and Best for Brows (SPMU). Chloe Camoccio, owner of Bare Nailscessity, has said:
“Being shortlisted in two categories for prestigious awards like these is fantastic. Bare Nailscessity has existed for less than 2 years and it has always been my drive to provide my clients with a high-quality gel polish manicure so to be shortlisted in the Best New Talent category is very exciting”
