TRACTORS have this evening been drafted in to tow vehicles into the Festival car park as motorists continue to queue for miles on end.
Within viewing distance of the car park, festival goers are being told by Police to expect a further 40 minute journey time into the grounds of the car park on top of the 12 hour plus journeys for some, including Island Echo.
It is reported that there is at least one to two foot of mud in the car park.
Traffic laws have been pushed aside this evening with articulated lorries heading the wrong way around the Racecourse Roundabout, nearly colliding head on with a double decker bus.
Bus drivers have been pushed to the limits today with some drivers carrying out staggering 18 hour shifts.
With the weather set to improve for Friday, we can only hope for a resolve to the situation as thousands still remain on the Mainland attempting to reach the garden isle.
