TOWN LANE IN SANDOWN CLOSED FOR EMERGENCY ELECTRICITY REPAIRS

Town Lane in Sandown has been closed from its junction with York Road to its junction with Union Road for a distance of 60 metres.

This is to enable Scottish and Southern Electric Networks (SSEN) to carry out repairs to service.

The diversion will be via York Road, High Street and Wilkes Road.

The diversion route will be signed at the time of closure. Reasonable facilities will be provided to allow access to adjacent premises while the road is closed.

The closure was put in place at 11:10 hours on 23rd April 2020 and will remain in force for a maximum period of five days or until the works are complete, whichever is sooner.
