Jay Miller’s Circus is to return to the Island next week, as the team begins their annual Summer-long residency. The popular circus will be back in its usual spot on Wootton’s Racecourse Roundabout from Friday 26th July until Sunday 1st of September with the usual array of familiar faces as well as a ‘new spectacular’ for the upcoming summer season. The circus will roll into town on Sunday, with the Big Top to be erected on Monday. Having first opened in Hampshire in March 1987, the circus has been coming to the Island since 1989 and has only missed 1 iteration – the COVID-19 hit summer of 2020. Performances are to be held at 15:00 & 19:00 on weekdays and at 19:00 on Saturdays. Sunday performances will be 14:00 and 17:00.
