A teenager has been conveyed to hospital this morning (Tuesday) after being involved in a collision with a car in Brighstone.
The incident occurred shortly before 08:30 at the junction of Moor Lane and Main Road in the village after a car collided with the pedestrian teen.
Thankfully, only minor injuries have been sustained and the teenager has been taken to St Mary’s Hospital in Newport for further assessment.
Two ambulances from the Isle of Wight Ambulance Service and multiple Police units responded to the incident, arriving at the scene in around 10 minutes.
