Reports of a suspicious vehicle in the vicinity of Attrills Lane on the outskirts of St Helens prompted an aerial search of the area late last night (Monday).
The National Police Air Service helicopter arrived in the skies above St Helens and Nettlestone at around 21:49, but stood down from the search just 5 minutes later.
Police were seen travelling away from the area shortly afterwards.
A spokesperson for Hampshire Constabulary has said:
“We were called at 7.33pm with reports of a suspicious vehicle in Attrills Lane.
“Police attended and engaged with the vehicle occupant. No offences were identified”.

Its easy to identify a suspicious vehicle from the false moustache and glasses.
Really, was it worth a helicopter?
They have to justify their existence.
Must be the invisible car because the photo has one thing missing err. “A car”!
For legal reasons we decided not to display a photo of the car. No offences have been committed.
Do we no if it was a red evo….
Why can’t people just leave him alone he’s been there for months and months and has permission from the farmer to be parked where he is
