With the sun shining for a second day, thousands are waking up to the beautiful Island sunshine with many more still en-route to Seaclose Park, as the Isle of Wight Festival gets into full swing today (Friday).
The atmosphere is alive following last night’s performances in BT Sport Big Top, with thousands cramming in to see 80s icon Boy George, who had the crowd singing to his every word as he performed the Culture Club classic ‘Karma Chameleon’.
Over at the Platform One tent, Festival favourites Naked Fridays performed their third gig of the day, having played to audiences on the Wightlink ferry on two crossings.
With very little mud throughout the Festival site, wellies have been ditched for flip flops and spirits are high as revellers look forward to this afternoon when Lawson, Rudimental, Biffy Clyro and Calvin Harris all take to the main stage.
