Stonecrabs has said thanks to everyone who attended the Out On An Island Pop Up Café in Lord Louis Library, Newport last Saturday (16th October).
Thanks also goes to the library staff who showed how easy it is to join the library and access books and audiobooks. If you missed it, there are 3 more to enjoy at libraries across the Island in October and November.
The cafes have free coffee and croissants and visitors can watch the project’s documentary Our Stories Matter, filmed on the Isle of Wight and focusing on fascinating LGBTQ+ people from the past 100 years. There’s also a chance to see a recording of Out On An Island’s exhibition showcasing our research and memorabilia filmed at Quay Arts.
