Status Quo drew a massive crowd last night (Thursday) as they blew the roof off the Isle of Wight Festival Big Top, kicking off Day 1 of the 2016 event.
The band – fronted by veteran performers Francis Rossi and Rick Parfitt – got the crowd bouncing on their feet and singing along to hits such as ‘Whatever You Want’, ‘Down Down’ and ‘Rocking All Over The World’.
Made In Chelsea’s JP made an appearance yesterday to take part in the Bear Grylls survival challenge in aid of Stand Up 2 Cancer.
Today will see the main stage open with Stereophonics and Faithless headlining with performances from the likes of Busted, Everything Everything and Jess Glynne.
