Newport-based St James Clinic has been named a finalist in the prestigious Private Dentistry Awards 2025, marking a major recognition for the family-run dental practice on the Isle of Wight.
The practice has been shortlisted in 2 competitive categories – Team of the Year and Treating Nervous Patients – in what organisers say has been a record-breaking year for entries. Submissions to the national awards have risen by 19% compared to 2024, making 2025 the most competitive year to date.
Run by Holly and Edward Day, St James Clinic has grown steadily since opening in 2015 and now boasts a team of 5 dentists, 3 hygiene/therapists, and a number of highly trained dental nurses. The practice offers general and cosmetic treatments, including Invisalign and implants, and is equipped with cutting-edge dental technology such as CBCT and iTero scanners.
The team say they remain committed to offering “the most affordable private dentistry on the island”.
The nomination comes following support from loyal patients who put the clinic forward for the awards. The national finals will be held in London on 21st November.
A spokesperson for St James Clinic has said:
“We are so honoured to be nominated and selected as finalists. It means the world to us to represent the Isle of Wight on a national level.
“Thank you to all our lovely patients who have supported us – this recognition is truly a reflection of our team’s dedication and passion.”
