Sandown Social Club is set to close its doors after over 50 years in business, it has been announced.
Rising costs and a bad reputation are being blamed for the closure, which was announced through the club’s Facebook page within the last hour.
A spokesperson for the club said: “We would like to thank everyone for their support over the past fifty odd years, but due to increasing costs and bad word of mouth from ex members the time has come to close.
“Once again thank you all for your support”.
