20140311-203911.jpgIt is understood smoke generated from a log-burning stove on board the boat ‘Rainbow Dancer’ is to blame for the alert, which has also seen lifeboat crew members from Cowes RNLI attend the scene alongside Bembridge Coastguard Rescue teams.

No one has been injured in the incident and the boat remains safe in the water with no fire found.

UPDATE @ 20:50 – Emergency services have now left the scene and the incident has been closed.
