SHAWN FORD AND CHRISSY GOULD WIN SANDOWN & SHANKLIN XMAS MIXED STABLEFORD

Shanklin and Sandown Golf Club held their Christmas Mixed Foursomes Stableford competition on Sunday (17th December). Due to the recent, almost unprecedented, rainfall, the competition was shortened to 14 holes. Undaunted by the heavy going, the teams took to the course, many wearing festive garb, and all vying for the much-prized trophies. The winners with 36 points were Shawn Ford and Chrissy Gould, with Jane and Bob Wilson taking second place with 31 points. Mulled wine and mince pies greeted the players in the Clubhouse after the competition.
