Ventnor and Ryde both went down to defeats on North Island on Saturday, but Shanklin secured a 43-run victory at Westhill.
An unbeaten century for captain Ben White saw Shanklin & Godshill beat Locksheath by a comfortable margin.
Shanklin put on a more than respectable 278 for the loss of 5 wickets in their 45 overs after winning the toss and electing to bat. Captain Ben White top-scored with an unbeaten 101 in 86 balls, including 13 4s and 3 6s. He was supported by opener Ross Le Seur, who made his half-century before being clean-bowled for 60.
Locks Heath managed 235 in reply with Mohsin Sabri top scoring with 81 not out. Matt Lambourne was the pick of the Shanklin bowlers with 4-25.

In Southern Premier Division 1, Ventnor went down to an agonising 4-run defeat at bottom club New Milton with 2 overs of their innings to spare.
After losing the toss and being put into bat, New Milton could only manage 166 runs before being skittled out in the 45th over. Lewis Naylor top-scored for the home side with a modest knock of 24. Overseas professional Dineth Thimodya returned the best bowling figures with 4-32. Ben Attrill took a treble of wickets for 31 runs in his 10 overs.
Ventnor could only score 162 in reply before being bowled out at the end of the 47th over. Alex Lloyd made a pedestrian 44 not out for Ventnor off 84 balls. He was supported by Tom Friend, who put on 35 runs before being caught by Beck off the bowling of Hussey.

In Division 4 (South), Ventnor 2nds maintained their 100 per cent record at the top of the table with a crushing 8-wicket victory over Kerala at Steephill.
Kerala reached a total of 139 before being skittled out for a modest total of 139 in the 36th over. Dominic Brihmani was the pick of the Ventnor bowlers with 2-44.
Ventnor surpassed the Kerala total in the 29th over with opener Mark Fletcher making 74 not out.

In Hampshire Division 1, Ryde went down to a 5-wicket defeat to Old Basing.
Ryde won the toss and elected to bat and reached a beatable total of 204 in their 50 overs. Captain Ashley Goldsmith top-scored for the Island side with 55 runs before being caught by Hall off the bowling of Holbrook.
Old Basing got past the Ryde total for the loss of 5 wickets with over 8 overs to spare.

In Hampshire Division 4 (South), Ryde 2nds extended their winning run to 4 games at Harding Shute by beating Southampton Travellers by 25 runs.
After winning the toss and electing to bat, Ryde reached a total of 263 in their 45 overs for the loss of 4 wickets. Opener Jordan Galsworthy scored the most runs for Ryde, making 80 before being caught by Abraham off the bowling of Jagadeesh. He was supported by Lee Hailes, who scored an unbeaten 73 off 62 balls.
Southampton Travellers made a total of 238 for the loss of 9 wickets with Ramnik Behar scoring an unbeaten 147. Mark Tuckwell (2-22), Ian Hailes (2-44) and Luke Jones (2-40) all took braces of wickets for Ryde.
