Shanklin and Sandown Golf Club members competed in their annual Cross-country competition on Sunday 25th July.
Members took to a very different course after much fiendish preparation by greens staff.
They teed off from the 1st tee to the 17th green, the 8th fairway to the 10th green, the 13th tee to the 4th green and so it went on, proving this was not a competition for the faint-hearted.
The winners of the competition were Bob Wilson, Luke Hatch, Mike Heffer and Ray Winter with a nett 44.
Mark Taskas, Chris Cornwell, Sam Cornwell and Steve Cutler took 2nd with a nett 45.3.
