SHANKLIN & SANDOWN GOLF CLUB RAISE OVER £4,000 FOR LOCAL AIR AMBULANCE

4 Shanklin & Sandown golfers played 92 holes over 8 courses in a single day in aid of the incumbent Captains’ charity: the Hampshire and Isle of Wight Air Ambulance.

At 04:00 on Wednesday 22nd June, Mark Taskas, Lucy Burke, Joe Green, and Sam Cornwell set off from Freshwater Bay Golf Club to play their 92 holes.

Having completed their herculean task, the foursome returned to their home club at 21:45 to rapturous applause, having raised £4,313.

The event was organised by Mark Taskas, Bar Manager at Shanklin and Sandown.
