An independent opticians in Shanklin is celebrating a landmark 40 years in business this month.
Hazel Smith Opticians is a family-run practice that is incredibly and rightfully proud of their family and community-centred values, allowing them to provide exceptional eyecare over the past 4 decades.
In celebration of their anniversary, they will be spending the month of August welcoming the local community to have fun and raise money for charities close to their hearts.
The practice plans to host a day with Ability Dogs 4 Young People; there will be a different dog in-store every hour. There will also be experts available to talk to people about the important work they do within the partially sighted and blind community. Later in the month, the practice will also be working with local charity, Sight for Wight.
Furthering the fun, Hazel Smith will also be holding a day to invite local children into the practice for a day of activities and giving them the opportunity to find out more about opticians, glasses and eyecare.
After 40 dedicated years of service, the only question left is – where to go from here? Hazel Smith’s future looks brighter than ever, as they look forward to continuing to provide the excellent service they do now and keeping up with all the new innovations.
