Top-of-the-table Newport will be seeking to maintain their 100% record in Wessex League 1 on Saturday when they face mid-table Salisbury side Laverstock & Ford at 15:00.

A coach will be available to take Newport-based supporters of the club to the game at Smallbrook Stadium in Ryde. The coach will be leaving their former home – St George’s Park – at 14:00. The cost of the return journey to the game is £4. The club has advised supporters there is no need to book a place on the coach and they can simply turn up on the day.
In the 2nd Wessex League 1 fixture to be played on Saturday, East Cowes Vics will face Ringwood Town at Beatrice Avenue.
Vics picked up their 1st point at Fawley on Wednesday, where they drew 4-4, and they will be hoping to take all 3 points against the 13th-placed New Forest side.
In the Wessex Premier League, 9th-placed Cowes sail across the Solent to meet bottom-of-the-table Hythe & Dibden, who have yet to gain a single point in their season so far.
The Yachtsmen, who hope not to get dragged into a relegation battle this season, will be looking to return to the Island with all 3 points.
The match-of-the-day in Isle of Wight Division 1 is a rematch of the Hampshire Trophy final in June between Shanklin and Brading Town, which takes place at the County Ground.
Shanklin currently top the Division 1 table with maximum points and Brading lie in 2nd place. In other games, 2nd place Cowes Sport Reserves take on Division 1 newcomers Niton at Westwood Park, and champions W&B are away to Sandown & Lake.
The big game in Division 2 is at Northwood Park, where league leaders Osborne Coburg face 3rd- placed Wootton.
There is a potentially explosive fixture at Downside in Division 2, where 2nd-placed Pan face High Park. Less than a fortnight ago, the 2 teams clashed in a pre-season friendly which had to be abandoned shortly before full time after a mass brawl broke out between the 2 teams.
