A 65-year-old man from Sandown is set to stand trial next year after denying charges of driving following the revocation of his licence and driving without insurance.
Paul Starr, of Stower Place in Sandown, appeared before the Isle of Wight Magistrates’ Court where he pleaded not guilty to 2 offences.
It is alleged that on 13th February this year, Starr drove a Kia xCeed on Broadway in Sandown despite his driving licence being revoked on medical grounds. He is also accused of driving without insurance.
The case has been adjourned for trial on 23rd April 2026.
Starr was granted unconditional bail until the hearing.
