35-year-old Tobias Green has been charged with Section 18 grievous bodily harm with intent, assault and indecent exposure following an incident in Sandown at the weekend. It was on Saturday afternoon that Police descended on Fort Street amid an allegation of an assault, as first reported by Island Echo. It was also reported that a man had indecently exposed himself at the property – Sandham House. Officers swarmed the area at around 13:00 and discovered that a woman in her 20s had sustained an injury to her head, with a woman in her 50s sustaining a hand injury. Around 90 minutes later, an ambulance from the Isle of Wight Ambulance Service left the scene on blue lights and rushed to St Mary’s Hospital in Newport, followed by 3 Police cars. Now, Hampshire & Isle of Wight Constabulary has confirmed that Tobias Green has been charged with assault, Section 18 grievous bodily harm with intent and exposure. He was remanded in custody to appear before Southampton Magistrates Court on Boxing Day, where he was further remanded to the Isle of Wight Crown Court until 26th January.
