Nationwide Building Society in Ryde will close for 9 days next month to allow refurbishment works to take place.
The building society, located the St Thomas’ Square and Cross Street junction, will close at 16:30 on the 27th February and will reopen at 11:00 on the 9th March.
A notice in the window states Nationwide are ‘here to stay’ and that they are making the branch ‘even better’.
Scaffolding is currently erected outside the premises.
Those needing to visit a branch of Nationwide will have to visit the Newport (St James’ Square) or Shanklin (Regent Street) branches.

Such a waste of money, the building looks fine as it is.
More scaffolding and more disruption.
