A dental practice that has been operating out of Tower House in Ryde is on the move to a new ‘state-of-the-art’ facility in Wootton – a former bathroom showroom.
Back in April, Island Echo reported that Tower House Dental Clinic faced an uncertain future as its lease had not been renewed at Rink Road. Although there were whiffs of a move to Wootton…
It was based in the same building as the GP surgery but needed to move as the doctors was looking to expand, taking over the space formerly held by the dentistry surgery. It has since transpired that Argyll House Surgery in Ryde is closing its doors, with patients set to be transferred to Tower House.
The clinic has been temporarily closed this month whilst the move to Wootton High Street has taken place.
Now, the practice is set to welcome patients once again when the doors re-open, in Wootton, on 29th August. The new dentist practice is based at the former Atlantis Bathroom Showroom, which was once upon a time Sightguard Fire and Security, next to Terry’s Fish and Chips.
A spokesperson for the dental clinic has said the priority is to complete outstanding treatments for those who have been waiting and those who need emergency appointments. Routine appointments will then continue as normal.
The spokesperson said:
“We look forward to regaining some normality and welcoming back our patients.
“We are really thankful for and appreciate everyone’s understanding and patience during this challenging period.”

Good luck parking. ,
How about the large car park at the rear of the building?
Is there not a car park off Brannon Way? or is it always packed full? Mind you, with the charges for parking the council make, who could afford to park there?
Pàrking free for 1 hour ticket from machine we are with the doctors there.
There is a large car park behind where this will be. The first hour is free, so no problems at all for parking
Where can I go to look at baths? Any news IE?
