An award-winning Isle of Wight care provider has celebrated 5 years of supporting people to continue living independently in their own homes.
Right at Home Isle of Wight marked the milestone with a celebration at The Birdham Hotel and Restaurant, bringing together staff and their families for an afternoon of recognition and thanks.
The event included a buffet lunch and a speech from owners Vicky and Paul Butler, who thanked their team for their commitment to delivering care across the Isle of Wight.
Vicky and Paul opened Right at Home Isle of Wight in Bembridge in 2019, before later expanding with a second office in Shanklin.
The business now employs 63 members of staff who provide personalised homecare services to adults across the Isle of Wight.
Vicky and Paul have said:
“As we celebrate this anniversary, we reflect with pride on how far we have come and look forward with excitement to the future.
“We remain committed to delivering outstanding care, supporting our staff to grow and thrive, and continuing to make a meaningful difference in the lives of the people we serve.

Right at Home provides a range of services designed to help people remain at home, including companionship, personal and dementia care, medication support, meal preparation, respite cover and live-in care.
The Isle of Wight branch is currently rated Outstanding by the Care Quality Commission and has also been recognised with a number of awards for its work within the local community.
Its activities have extended beyond providing care in people’s homes.
Last December, the team brought together local businesses and volunteers to hold a Christmas Day lunch for people who would otherwise have spent the festive period alone.
The company is also behind the Older Persons Good Living Show, which was launched in 2022 to showcase Isle of Wight businesses and services that can help older people remain independent.
The 4th annual event was held at the Isle of Wight Steam Railway in July, attracting more than 250 visitors and featuring 40 exhibitors.
More recently, Right at Home Isle of Wight held a quiz night at The Old Village Inn in Bembridge in August.
More than £200 was raised to support the provider’s monthly dementia-friendly Afternoon Tea Club.
The company’s work has also received praise from families whose relatives receive care.
