Captiva Homes won the ‘Fast Rising Property Business of the Year Award’ at last week’s South Coast Property Awards.
The ceremony took place at the Hilton, Ageas Bowl in Southampton and was hosted by stand-up comedian Hal Cruttenden.
The South Coast Property Awards are held by The Business Magazine and at last night’s event celebrated a total of 16 categories, judged by industry experts, recognising the contributions of property agents, developers, planners, consultants, property lawyers and dealmakers to the success of the sector.
James Pink, Director of Captiva Homes, has said:
“Captiva is an incredibly fast-growing business. This award, in addition to our recent ‘Small Business of the Year Award’, only goes further to credit our Team’s hard work and dedication through a fast-moving period achieving a market-leading increase in sales and our overall expansion since 2019”.
Established over 2 decades ago, Captiva Homes prides itself on delivering affordable homes on the Isle of Wight.

Stop ruining the Island with more unnessecary homes.
Just look on Rightmove there are a few thousand homes available to purchase.
Also if all the run down empty Holiday sites and Hotels were re-developed you wouod not
have to keep ruining the islands beautiful countryside,
Stop building, Companies like Captiva do not care for people or the area they build in, they
just want to line their own pockets with huge profits.
Yep rightmove has well over 1000 properties for sale without stc’s
But hey let’s hand out awards for ecological vandalism, building “affordable’ housing that is anything but!
The vast majority of those homes are not empty. They are people wanting to move.
Many are moving off the Island.
Stop ruining the Island with more unnessecary homes.

And they don’t mind who they walk over to get what they want to build their 2 storey sheds too sell at over £300,000
I brought my house for much much less than that from Captiva…less than half of that to be exact! Check your facts.
They can shove their new builds up their ar*e.
They are Masons so are very well connected hence Council symbiotic relationship.
I know a couple of Masons. I never knew they would stoop so low.
I thought being a Mason a person had to be decent, not from what I have seen.
What a rogues gallery. An award for destroying the island by covering it with awful hutches and concrete.
Nick land from old folk that’s what’s its about
Grrr. Affordable house building scum. Get off our island and let us go back to living in mud huts.
‘Affordable homes’ means the buyer pays 80% of what the house should cost – nothing to do with what local families earn. How often do Captiva publish the price of these ‘affordable homes’ when they put in the planning application? The most profit for a developer comes from developing a greenfield site – and Captiva always seem to get permission to build on greenfield sites.
Debbie you speak so confidently but you should check your facts. 35% Affordable housing always includes 70% rented homes and I myself have purchased a Captiva house for just 65% of the price and on our site many homes are rented. The sales people also told us it was the first greenfield site Captiva had built in20 years!
In terms of figures they are all published it’s called land registry lol.
Building on greenfield sites is certainly NOT not a plus for Captiva.
Looks more like you work for captiva jo, with the waffle that your coming out with.
Pink would be nothing without the backing of Ball.
Their moto is high quality homes for islanders but I’m afraid to say the families that have moved to westacre from the mainland to be near their convicted partners in Parkhurst will tell you different.
The bland, empty faces of environmental ruination writ large.A pox on all their houses.
I know some of the builders who work for Captiva, none of them would ever buy, rent or sofa surf in one of them. They know what Captiva expects of them as builders.
Yes you are correct. I know I had a lad who worked for them. It worried him he had to leave.
