Tesco Pharmacy will be closed at weekends until further notice due to staff shortages.
It has been confirmed that the popular pharmacy counter at Tesco Extra in Ryde will be closed on Saturday and Sunday.
Furthermore, weekday opening times have been reduced to 09:00-18:00.
Fiona Kidd, Pharmacist, says that staff shortages are to blame for the reduced opening hours.

Don’t forget there are lots of excellent local pharmacies who will provide a service on Saturdays and Yarmouth Pharmacy is open on Sundays from 10am to 4pm.
Local Pharmacies need your support, they don’t have the support of the huge profits made by Tesco and depend on your custom to survive.
