A number of hi-speed Red Jet sailings have been cancelled this morning (Wednesday) – on the same day as Red Funnel’s service returns to a 2-boat operation for the first time in weeks. A technical issue with the starboard inner engine on Red Jet 6 has led to the cancellation of 6 early morning sailings. The 06:05, 07:15 and 08:25 from Southampton have been pulled, alongside the 06:40, 07:50 and 09:00 from West Cowes. It means that the entire operation is now resting on Red Jet 7, as Red Jet 4 remains out of service following a major engine breakdown at the end of last year. Red Funnel apologise for any inconvenience to your journey
