The start of the new working week has got off to a bad start for commuters as Red Funnel has cancelled a number of its hi-speed Red Jet sailings this morning (Monday).
A technical issue on board Red Jet 6 means that the 06:05, 07:15 and 08:25 sailings from Southampton have all been cancelled, as well as the 06:40, 07:50 and 09:00 sailings from West Cowes.
There are also 15 minute delays to the services that are still running, including the 06:05 and 07:15 from West Cowes.
No further information has been disclosed as to what exactly the issue is, or when the service is likely to return to a normal timetable.
Red Funnel apologises for any inconvenience to your journey.

Red Funnel as a company is a technical issue, and they are failing, expect them to go bankrupt soon, have they published the financial reports yet. If you look they haven’t yet, and a lot of directors resigned last March, oh dear. They have until the 27th of March before they have to file the account reports or they are in trouble. Just go to companies house and search for Red Funnel.
Comanies House is not the most efficient of operations, so we don’t know how long it takes them to post any documents they receive to the public access site.
I saw a Thames Uber Boat in Cowes last week,
maybe they are getting ready to take over this
shoddy service.
Uber would be much more reliable and much
cheaper.
Sounds like a lack of passengers.
if it was a rabid dog it would of been put down along time ago..please sale up and see if someone else can have a go cant be any worse..please.
Same old, same old
