Red Funnel is celebrating with England football fans across the country by extending the 1/3 off Black Friday sale whilst the Three Lions stay in!
The offer is the ferry operator’s biggest and most flexible sale of the year and is available online at https://www.redfunnel.co.uk/en/isle-of-wight-ferry/special-offer/black-friday-sale/.
The deal allows customers to book for travel dates from now up to 30th October 2023, including throughout all school holidays and peak travel times, with the exception of 15th-19th June (Isle of Wight Festival).
If you’re planning a Christmas visit with friends and family, a day trip or even a spring or summer staycation make sure you book now to save 1/3 off.
The Three Lions will be battling Senegal on Sunday 4th December at 19:00 so customers have until at least 20:45 on Sunday to book and save a 1/3 on travel.
Fran Collins, Chief Executive Officer at Red Funnel, said:
“We’re pleased to announce an extension to our Black Friday sale while the England football team continues in the tournament. We hope this offer allows customers to enjoy some extra travel occasions as we move into the festive period and into 2023.”

F OFF Red funnel ! Enough of your shananigans already !
Who in their right mind, would want to travel on a ferry full of football hooligans anyway ?
That’ll be till Sunday evening then!!
Big deal…What a grand gesture.
How about keeping the1/3 off if they win the world cup ?
How weird..no bs random cancellations?oh but 10%price hike though? Whats football got too do with anything. Serve us ALL same
Oh and stop wasting money on constant through the day adverts on low radio costing £1000s at a time!..no need too raise prices then
What is wrong with my comments? You dont accept them. Others are worse than mine ?
I thought Black Friday was all about getting a bargain. Not be slightly less ripped off than usual.
Who wants to travel on a ferry that’s not only ripping people off with prices , also poor food at high price uncomfortable seating arrangements poor coffee , cold in lounges .
Not much going for them I’m afraid.
I’d rather swim
The fare increase is for the share holders and you can bet the discounts won’t come off there bonuses
This so called offer is a total con (as usual). I looked at booking a crossing in April at the weekend and with supposedly a third off it was twice as much as the 15% off red book of vouchers price. Even taking the 10% price hike into account it wouldn’t be that much.
