Quay Lane in Brading is due to close at 08:00 tomorrow (Saturday) to enable Wightfibre to carry out network installation works prior to carriageway resurfacing.
The road will be closed from its junction with High Street to the end of the public highway for a distance of 709 metres.
This is to allow the Installation of Wightfibre ducting for service and trunk supplies.
There is no diversion route, however access to properties will be maintained though a short delay should be expected.
From 08:00 hours on 15th August 2020, for a maximum period of five days.

What, they are going to resurface AFTER Wighttfibre lay their trunking. Surely this is in the wrong order. Not to detract from the fact, yet again, a road that goes nowhere is being resurfaced by our marvelous (sic) IR crowd.
