Punter and Griffiths triumphed in the divisional prizes at Freshwater Bay Golf Club’s Seniors Open in September sunshine.
Freshwater Bay Golf Club held its annual Seniors Open on Friday (5th September), with players treated to glorious conditions on the downland course. The fine weather made for excellent golfing and some very competitive scoring.
The event was kindly sponsored by Spence Willard, with Jason Siviter presenting the prizes alongside Seniors Captain Sean Wright and Mark Andrews.
In Division 1, Nick Punter claimed victory with a steady and consistent round, while David Griffiths took top honours in Division 2.
Seniors Captain Sean Wright said:
“It was fantastic to see so many players out enjoying the course and the comaraderie that makes this club such a special place. The support from Spence Willard is hugely appreciated, and we could not have asked for a better day to play golf.”
