UPDATED: Fire crews are this morning (Monday) attending to a property in Bembridge following reports of sparks coming from the main power supply.
Firefighters from Bembridge, Ryde and Newport have been called to the scene on Land End Road in the village.
UPDATED @ 08:30 – Firefighters have safely and successfully isolated the power to the property and have now left the scene, returning to station.
No one has been injured in the incident.
