Police have been involved in the pursuit of a car in Ryde this afternoon (Tuesday), which has resulted in vehicles becoming damaged.
At around 13:00 several units became involved in the chase of a small blue hatchback, believed to be a VW Polo, in the Binstead area of Ryde, pursuing it through residential streets before heading to the main roads.
On Ashey Road in Haylands at least two cars have been damaged, one suffering a puncture after being forced off the road and another having lost a wing mirror. Another vehicle had a narrow escape near to Ashey Road Garage.
It is currently unknown if the vehicle, understood to be driven by a young male, has been successfully stopped by Police.
