Police have launched an investigation after a car collided with the wall of a fish and chip shop in Ventnor on Friday night – and it appears the driver simply drove away from the scene. The incident occurred on the junction of Ocean View Road and Newport Road at 22:37 on 19th January. Significant damage to the takeaway’s step is evident after a white Mitsubishi ASX smashed into the structure, causing damage to the vehicle’s nearside front. It’s thought the vehicle was travelling towards Upper Ventnor at the time. It is understood from CCTV footage that the driver did not stop at the scene and instead continued driving the damaged vehicle to nearby Cornwall Road. It’s here that the unidentified driver was seen leaving the area in another vehicle. Hampshire & Isle of Wight Constabulary is now investigating the single vehicle collision. Why bother catching the shyte, A fine of a few pounds, but as it will be ‘on benefits cos i got scattered kids’ will be paid at the rate of £1 per month, and banned from driving for 6 months, but likely has no licence or intention of getting one.
Since our prisons, like our country are now filled with our own and the daily flotilla’s contents, there will never again be room to give any meaningful sentences for lesser crimes, so the Police and the public have lost all respect and effort in trying to uphold the law now.
Lucky the whole building never collapsed as at the edge of the land fault.
Facts don’t agree, currently in UK prisons around 95,000 inmates,as off 2022 less than 1000 were illegal imagrants . There were of UK citizens 38,000 Christian .00165 % of world ,15,000 Muslim .00083% of world ,474 Jewish .00296 (only 16million Jewish world wide).
I agree ilegal immigrants that break the law and given prison should be deported .But stereo typing is wrong.
Yet if the numbers of those of none White British were ever dared to be published it would show immigration in a very different light.
Hence race rules and laws prevent that being allowed to be known.
One ought to not have ANY illegals in our prisons let alone our country.

I’m sure hundreds of mitsubishi asx registered on IOW- not, so police have car? will have DNA and prints from inside vehicle, should be treated seriously as if not then next time driver might kill someone. The other vehicle driver is now also involved in the crime and equally liable. Prevention is better all round including that of driver. Only reason driver didn’t stop is either drunk/drugged or no license/insurance etc , it’s not difficult to get round corner in that direction, double deckers manage fine. Some dog walker or soul sat on steps could of been killed.
Ah well it means calling forensic team from The North Isle as we don’t have that facility here, like we do not have officers with dogs! Or any visible officers come to think of it!.

The 2 women we saw when driving by, who were routing through the debris, collecting the large plastic parts ripped from underneath the car & loading said items into the back of their Silver Hatchback, are also involved I would say.
