Police have seized evidence as part of their ongoing investigation into a number of thefts in the village of Wroxall.
Sometime between 20:00 on Thursday evening and first thing Friday morning a number of properties and vehicles in and around Brookside Crescent were targeted.
It is said that fishing gear and push bikes were stolen overnight, as well as fuel from parked cars. Another car was riffled through but nothing was taken.
On Sunday night 2 expensive push bikes worth £2,000 were also stolen from Wroxall.
Police have today (Saturday) recovered some fishing gear and a push bike from the local area. The items are being passed onto forensic teams for examination.
