Police are this morning (Sunday) investigating an alleged assault outside a primary school in Upper Ventnor.
Officers have cordoned off the entrance to St Francis Primary School on Newport Road and are standing guard following an alleged assault during the early hours of this morning, sometime between midnight and 03:00.
Scenes of crime forensic officers have photographed the area and door to door enquiries are taking place.
