Police are investigating an attempted break in at Boots in Sandown during the early hours of this morning (Tuesday).
Officers have been conducting door to door enquiries with local residents and reviewing CCTV footage following the incident at around 00:00-01:00 this morning.
Island Echo understands the doors to the popular chemist have been severely damaged, meaning 24 hour security may need to be put in place overnight if a suitable repair or replacement cannot be arranged.
