UPDATED: Police are appealing for witnesses after an incident in Sandown during the early hours of Friday morning (29th September).
The incident – which Police have not expanded on – took place between 00:10 and 00:40 at the car park in Stower Place off Perowne Way.
A woman in her 20s and a woman in her 30s sustained minor injuries during the incident. A third woman in her 20s was ‘driven away from the location’ in a vehicle.
A 25-year-old man from Ventnor and a 33-year-old man from Sandown have both been arrested in connection with this incident. They have been released under investigation while enquiries continue.

UPDATE MONDAY – Police have been conducting door to door enquiries over the weekend as they probe if anybody heard a car’s tyres screeching in the local area.
Island Echo understands the incident is being treated as an alleged homophobic attack and kidnap.
The accused and the alleged victims are all local and are thought to be known to one another.
UPDATE @ 11:32 – It has been confirmed that the 33-year-old man from Sandown was arrested on suspicion of kidnap and assault by beating. The 25-year-old man from Ventnor was arrested on suspicion of kidnap and common assault.
