UPDATED: Island Line services have been suspended this afternoon (Sunday) due to a points failure on the line.
Engineers are currently on site at Smallbrook Junction between Ryde and Brading and are working to resolve the issue.
Trains between Ryde Pier Head and Shanklin are expected to remain halted until 17:00.
UPDATE @ 16:40 – The points failure at Smallbrook Junction has now been rectified by engineers and services are said to be running once again.
