A pensioner who appeared in court earlier this week, accused of stalking a pharmacy worker, will stand trial in May next year.
Malcom Ley, 76, of Fairlee Road in Newport, pleaded not guilty to 1 count of stalking between 22nd September 2024 and 31st January 2025 when he appeared before the Isle of Wight Magistrates Court this week (Tuesday).
The court heard that Mr Ley is accused of spending increased amounts of time in a local Pharmacy, as well as giving gifts to his alleged victim.
The case has been adjourned for trial on 7th May 2026.
Mr Ley has been granted conditional bail.
