A one-way restriction has been implemented on Pellhurst Road in Ryde this morning (Wednesday).
Pellhurst Road has been closed between Queens Road and Argyle Street for a distance of approx. 100 meters in a southbound direction.
Southern Water contractors are to carry out urgent repairs to a collapsed sewer outside property number 12.
The one-way restriction will be in place during the duration of the works and the diversion route is as follows.
Vehicles are to follow the diversion route which is as follows: Queens Road, West Street, Lind Street, St Thomas Square, High Street, Garfield Road, Victoria Street, John Street, Argyll Street.
The order has been put in place from 00:00 hours on 28th November 2019, for a maximum period of five days or until the works are complete, whichever is sooner.
Sounds like a ‘big job’ to me
