Park Road in Ryde has closed today (Wednesday) following a burst 3″ water main.
Park Road has been closed from its junction with St Johns Wood Road to its junction with West Hill Road for a distance of 86 metres.
This is to enable Southern Water to carry out repairs to burst main. Traffic management is provided by DTM.
The diversion will affect these streets: St Johns Wood Road, St Johns Hill, Alexandra Road, West Hill Road, East Hill Road.
Diversion route(s) will be signed at the time of closure. Reasonable facilities will be provided to allow access to adjacent premises while the road is closed.
The closure went into force at 07:00 hours on 3rd June 2020 and will remain in place for a maximum period of five days or until the works are complete, whichever is sooner.
