The case against Finlay Bakewell and Reece Judge, both accused of a serious assault back on Christmas Eve in 2023, has been adjourned until March.
25-year-old Finlay Bakewell, of Cranleigh Gardens in Cowes and 23-year-old Reece Judge, of Collards Close in Freshwater, appeared jointly before the Isle of Wight Magistrates Court yesterday (Tuesday) both charged with affray and assault occasioning actual bodily harm.
The offences in question are alleged to have taken place at Newport Bus Station on the 24th December 2023 – as previously reported by Island Echo.
During the hearing, the court heard how ‘serious injuries’ were sustained in the incident.
The pair – represented by Michael McGoldrick – did not enter a plea.
Due to the severity of the charges, the case has been adjourned to the Isle of Wight Crown Court.
Both men have been handed unconditional bail until the next hearing on 24th March.
