THE sun is out, the rain has held off and tens of thousands of people are enjoying a packed out arena as the likes of Labrinth, Madness, Jessie J and Tinie Tempah take to this stage this afternoon.
The festival ground has started to dry and the event is in full swing on the second day of the Isle of Wight Festival 2012, but traffic delays have returned. Southern Vectis were reporting delays on their Routes 2 & 3 this lunchtime due to the amount of people heading from the seaside towns to Seaclose Park and queues have built up in the area, but not to the extent seen on Thursday.
The bass is thumping and the revellers are cheering as Madness currently play their classic hits such as ‘It must be love’ and ‘House of fun’.
Pop sensation Jessie J is due on the Main Stage next, in what seems to be the most anticipated set yet.
Headliners Pearl Jam will wrap up tonight’s main stage performances after Tinie Tempah and Biffy Clyro take to the stage. Sunday is due to be headlined by Bruce Springsteen.
