Staff at Orchard House Care Home have been recognised for their dedication and compassionate care at a special awards evening attended by residents, relatives, friends and colleagues.
The Orchard House Care Awards celebrated the achievements of the team and the contribution staff make to life at the home each day.
Hosted by Isla Wight, the evening featured fizz, laughter and entertainment as those gathered celebrated the work of employees across a variety of roles.
Although the whole team was recognised for its dedication and commitment, a number of individual and team awards were presented following nominations from colleagues and residents.
Angie was named Carer of the Year, while Emma K received the Registered Nurse of the Year award.
Jenna was recognised as Hospitality Champion, Rijo as Dementia Champion and Lewis as Activities Coordinator of the Year.
Helen picked up the Clinical Shining Star award, with Tina receiving the Non-Clinical Shining Star accolade.
Gina received the Community Engagement Award, while the Bluebell Community was named Team of the Year.
Dani and Lucy were recognised as the Newest Stars to Our Team, with Emma F named Learner of the Year.
Kirsty received the Manager’s Special Recognition Award, Elyse picked up the Resident Advocate Award and Vicki was named Employee of the Month.
Emma and Amanda, Managers of Orchard House, have said:
“We are incredibly proud of our whole team and everything they do for our residents every single day. It was wonderful to come together with our residents, relatives and friends to recognise their hard work, dedication and compassionate care.
“The evening was full of smiles, laughter and celebration, and it was lovely to see everyone enjoying themselves.
