Fire crews from Newport, Sandown and Shanklin are this morning working to free a person who has become trapped inside their vehicle following a collision in Shanklin.
The incident took place at the junction of Green Lane and Languard Manor Road shortly before 07:45.
Police have closed both roads while emergency services deal with the incident.
Delays are effecting local school buses in the area, alongside Route 2 buses.
It is believed that the injuries sustained are not life threatening.
