The Old School Disco Charity Night will run from 19:00 until midnight at GG’s on Staplers Road, Newport.
The event aims to raise money for a number of local causes and will include a 2-course meal, live entertainment and a full evening of fundraising activities.
The charities set to benefit from the event are:
- The Wight Brainy Brunch
- Hampshire and Isle of Wight Air Ambulance
- Daisy Ring Bus
- Mindset Bros
- The Veterans Hub Isle of Wight
- A sixth charity to be selected by the audience on the night
Pupil tickets, which are standard tickets, are priced at £32.50 per person. These include a 2-course meal, unreserved seating and a full night of entertainment. Attendees using pupil tickets are required to wear school uniform.
Teacher tickets are VIP tickets and are sold as tables of 10 at a cost of £625 per table. These include a 2-course meal with table service, a glass of Prosecco, priority seating and additional privileges not available to student ticket holders.
Those attending on teacher tickets are encouraged to dress as their favourite teacher from the past. These tickets are very limited.
A raffle and a series of games will also take place throughout the evening to help raise additional funds for the charities. The event is being supported by local businesses who are donating their time and services free of charge.
These include GG’s, Blueline Security Management, Soundwaves Ents, SDC Marquees and Widget Production.
