Blackgang Chine has announced that its popular Terror Island event will not be returning this Halloween. After 5 years, time has been called on the October spooktacular – with organisers saying they cannot uphold their high standards. No further details have been released as to why this may be. Over the years the adult-only event has been a popular out-of-season attraction, in particular its growing number of scare mazes. 
The axe has sadly fallen, with organisers saying.
“Those of you twisted enough to have been repeat victims will know that every year we have brought you more scares, more gore, and more screams. “But, this year, we can’t uphold our horrifically high standards, and we’re not in the business of tame experiences. Go hard or go home. “So, our creatures are doing just that and crawling back to worlds they came from, and we are closing our maze doors. “We know this will disappoint so many of you, as it has us. “A huge thank you to all the victims whose nerves we wrecked and blood we curdled; we hope Terror Island will live on in your nightmares, and we’ll scare you there.”
Just take a walk along Sandown seafront after dark and take in the scary people and burnt out hotels….. all for free.
Sandown is scary in the daytime, so many drink and druggies
along the Esplanade and along the High Street.
Not to mention the scary sight of the Councils Enforcement Officers
and the 50p price tag to use the toilets by the Sundial Cafe.

Wouldn’t be a surprise to hear by end of year that like Robin Hill Blackgang will be closing for good. With business rates, Insurance, Health and safety and wages etc many attractions are closing.
masse illegal arrivals into the UK many indigenous people have understandably decided to move to areas they well at one with.
So the council get far more from thousands of extra homes being built here for the displaced mainland people, than they ever get in business rates.
So watch the tourist industry diminish but housing cover this beautiful Island.

What rubbish, our council don’t get paid extra to house anyone from mainland, be they migrants or just from big British Rules simple to even get on home finder you have to have 5yrs and Island family connection. Yes some Islanders do exchange. Reform would be the end of us,no NHS,no school places,no housing,high inflation and redundancies in 75% as big companies would leave the UK. This island is not helping itself by being racist and homophobic !.
