Executive, Isle of Wight Chamber of
Commerce.
The nominations have been announced for the 2023 IW Chamber Business Awards, sponsored by WightFibre.
More than 40 Island businesses have been shortlisted in 15 categories and the winners will be presented at a glittering ceremony, hosted by comedian and TV star Shappi Khorsandi.
The prestigious glass statues will be handed out at Cowes Yacht Haven on Friday, 12th May.
IW Chamber Chief Executive Steven Holbrook
“We’re thrilled to announce our shortlist, which once again showcases an amazing range of Isle of Wight businesses,”
“Our 20 judges from across the globe were wowed by the quality of the entries and our expert, impartial panel worked hard to assess each submission. We say this every year, but to be nominated for this highly prestigious event is already praise indeed. Our quality threshold is very high, reflecting the levels of submissions, and not every business can succeed each year. All our shortlisted businesses are very worthy nominees.
“We’re all set for an incredible party on May 12th, celebrating the best in Island business, with an event that matches the prestige and the success of our business community. We can’t wait.”
TV’s Shappi Khorsandi, who is hosting the ceremony, has said:
“I’m really excited to be your host for the night,” says
“I love the Isle of Wight – it’s one of my favourite places in the world and I love spending time here,” Shappi says. “I’m really excited to be your host for the night and I’m looking forward to celebrating with all of the winners and nominees on this prestigious evening. We’ll have some laughs and we’ll give out some lovely looking trophies. See you there!”

The Island Holiday Company

Hurst is the winner in my eyes, best Company on the Island by miles.
Ohh look it’s the nominate myself and get my friends to vote for me awards again. By the I’m no one except on the IOW club. Wonder how these awards are audited and by who?
Only heard of 5/6 of them, does seem a Club for brown envelopes while hard working others are not probably even aware. Who pays for it all ?.
Certain ones have done nothing for the charity and only just taken over it to boast and make themselves feel important
Vestas, “Employer Of The Year Award”? I wonder what the workers on the shop floor think about that.
