A collision between an Audi and a Peugeot is causing rush hour delays in Ryde this afternoon (Thursday).
The crash has occurred on Great Preston Road, near the junction with Harding Road.
A green Peugeot 206 has sustained front offside damage after coming into contact with a white Audi A1 at around 17:15.
No injuries have been reported.
Police are on scene and have closed the road between Harding Road and Gassiot Green, with traffic being directed away ahead of the recovery of both vehicles.

This road needs to be handled with a great deal on care and attention, parked cars and a bend in the road will catch you out!
Double Yellow Lines would help, also needed at the top of
Easthill Road.
I think the Council have run out of paint,
or is it NO paint June.
shame it ain’t NO Council tax June
Great Preston Road is very narrow in sections,
also vehicles speed along Great Preston Road.
I always avoid it, much safer to use Marlborough Road.
